Description:
The vln player who was a member of the Canadian Symphonic Rock band FM and passed away in '14 while leaving a strong impression on fans with his unusual style and image, released on his own label Cut-Throat Records in 1981. This is the first CD release in '17 in remastered/digipak format! The original was recorded by one person in the synth/rythem box,Like the '78 12" inch single "BEDSIDE COMPANION," it was produced and released as a work that can be viewed at 33/45/78 rpm (this disc includes all versions of all songs). The band presents colorful electronics music that makes use of the cheap and kitschy sounds typical of the electronic equipment of this period, while at the same time developing spicy, romantic and futuristic New Wave/Techno-Pop instrumentals that are distinctly North American, different from the British/European music. The cheap and mechanical music/sound, which gets more Electro/Techno as the RPM increases, is also a must-listen for fans of electronic music, and shows the consistent Electro/Avant orientation and the talent of the idea from the debut album. !!!
