At the same time, deep within the album, the unique quirks and personality that come from having honed his studio skills entirely on his own have been deliberately left intact, underscoring a career forged over many years on the club scene. Featuring vocals by Aluna, Brazy, Betsy, and labelmate KUCKA, the album is further polished by piano and keyboard work from Eli Teplin—who has worked with Justin Bieber and Charli XCX—and additional production by the duo Parisi. Thirteen years have passed since he broke through overnight with the double-platinum hit “Harlem Shake.” Baauer has now released his most personal and emotional album to date.
