Free is one of the leading figures in the British rock scene of the 60's and 70's. The band's unique hard rock sound, combining elements of blues and soul, brought them worldwide success. The band achieved worldwide success with its unique hard rock sound that combined elements of blues and soul, but the band was cut short due to guitarist Paul Kossoff's drug problems. Their best album "Fire and Water" was released in June 1970 and reached No.17 on the US Album Chart and No.2 on the UK Album Chart. The album reached No. 17 in the U.S. and No. 2 in the U.K. During this tour, the band played a studio show in Manchester on July 24 for a special program on Granada TV (UK). In November of the same year, they released their 4th album "Highway" and toured Europe to promote the album, including a concert in Stockholm on December 12, which was recorded and broadcast for a local radio station.These broadcast audio masters have now been remastered and released as a live album. The only live recordings from this peak period of Free's career were released only on BBC radio programs, so the live album release of these two sources is a valuable archive that can be called the missing piece of this band!
