The Moonriders' ninth album, "Amateur Academy," released in 1984, is now being reissued in analog format to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the band's release of "Amateur Academy," which is also regarded as the most problematic album in the band's history. This is a gorgeous set of two 45rpm LPs with special attention paid to sound quality! The Moonriders, treasures of the Japanese rock/pop music world, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut in 2026. The album is also characterized by the symbolic titles of all the songs, and is said to be "the most problematic work in the band's history," with numerous anecdotes about its production, including 500 hours of studio time, one week to create the sound of Vedra, and the use of three studios at the same time. One of the band's best-known works, which includes many popular songs that are still performed live, such as "30 (30 Age)" and "G.o.a.P. (Let's Hurry Up and Go on a Picnic)," has been reissued in two 45rpm LP sets with emphasis on sound quality, marking the 40th anniversary of its release!
