Ami Inoi, a guitar heroine of the new era, has released her long-awaited second CD. The theme of this album is "white," a drastic change from the previous album. The program includes an arrangement of a Schubert song by Merz, a guitarist and composer who decorated the latter half of the golden age of classical guitar, "Sonata Romantica," a homage to Schubert by Ponce, a leading Mexican composer, and "Fantasy on a Theme from La Traviata," the first recording of the Lecky version. The program is a delightful showcase of Inoui's superb technique and musicality.
