This is the second album by Mikiko Higo, a soprano who has demonstrated her originality in "A Sollicitic Evening" in which she sang works by Yuji Takahashi. In this CD, Mikiko Higo sings works by three composers (Kurt Weill, Hans Eisler, and Yuji Takahashi) on poems by Bertolt Brecht. Takahashi's work "Four Love Songs" was composed only as a melody in the 1970s, and a piano part was added for this CD. (C)RS
