Description:
The talent of ballet school students shines through in this adorable performance. The Wolf is played by ROH's Polunin and Grandpa by Will Kemp! Prokofiev composed "Peter and the Wolf" in 1936 as a symphonic story for children. Since its premiere in 1995, it has become a popular ballet at the Royal Ballet School. The children are lovely, stylish, and expressive. Even though they are only students, they are dancers of a high caliber, making the performance a spectacle to behold. The role of the cat is played by a Japanese dancer, Chisato Katsura, whose future is very promising. The grandfather is played by Will Kemp, known for his roles in the movie "Van Helsing" and "The Swan" and "A Soldier's Tale" with Adam Cooper. The wolf is Sergey Polunin of ROH. Nippon Columbia
