The live recording of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by the internationally acclaimed pianist Kaze Jizukawa and the members of JACK (string quintet), a unique ensemble formed by members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, has finally been released! During the period when Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall is closed (January 2021-October 2010), the "Yokohama 18 Wards Concert" series is being held at halls, public halls, and other cultural facilities in each ward of Yokohama City to present concertos performed by chamber orchestra. This CD is the follow-up to the CD release of Chopin/Piano Concerto No. 1 (BRAVO-10008) by Koutaro Fukuma and members of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, which was held in January 2022, and was performed on March 1, 2022 at the Konan Kumin Bunka Center Himawari no Sato in Yokohama City by Kaze Jitsukawa and the Hama This is a live recording of the performance of Chopin/Piano Concerto No. 2 by JACK members at the Konan Kumin Bunka Center Himawari no Sato, Yokohama, on March 1, 2022.Soloist Kaze Jitsukawa won the third prize (without first prize), the best recital prize, and the best new piece performance prize at the Ron Thibault Crespin International Competition held at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris in 2015, and the first prize and audience prize at the Carrillo International Piano Competition in Italy the following year (2004).
