N-crafts is a brass quintet formed in 2008 by members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The quintet has performed solo throughout Japan and is now ready to release its first CD. The CD includes masterpieces by Charpentier and Bach, standard brass quintet pieces, and a version of the wind band classic "Tanabata" arranged for brass quintet by the composer Tadasu Sakai himself.
