Composer and cellist Kirin Uchida, who transcends genres such as classical, jazz, and tango, has taken on the challenge of classical-style works such as string quartets and piano trios for his second album. ~ Following his first album "HEAVEN", this album "CLASSICAL" will be his own expression of his own love for various classical music in his own words. Rather than a challenge to create something new, it was like exposing my naked self to others, and it was not a project that was only fun for me. However, thanks to the many people who have been looking forward to the completion of this work, including my collaborators, I have been able to bring it to fruition. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and picked up this album. I hope you will like each and every one of these works. (Kirin Uchida Kirin Uchida ProfileBorn in Osaka Prefecture, Kirin Uchida began playing the cello at the age of 18 while studying at Kyoto Pharmaceutical University to become a composer.He then entered Tokyo University of the Arts, where he completed the master's program with the Acanthus Music Prize of the Graduate School. He has received numerous awards, including the second prize at the 11th Viva Hall Cello Competition, as well as the unprecedented three Aoyama Music Award Newcomer Prize and the Aoyama Music Award Baroque Saal Prize. Currently, he is active in a variety of performances that transcend genres, focusing on recording activities and collaborating with classical and jazz musicians, tango musicians, and Japanese instrumentalists.
