Wujian" quickly achieved stardom throughout China with his humorous behavior on TV shows. The best album is being released to commemorate his first tour in Japan in April 2025! He also appears in "New Century Romantics" by up-and-coming Chinese film director Jia Zhangke, which is scheduled to premiere in Japan in May 2025, and his future activities are expected to continue. The music of "Gojo-jin" is influenced by the traditional music of southern China, 80's country rock, reggae, and blues. The lyrics are often mixed with humor and melancholy, and often depict common local scenes. They sing in the local dialect (Haifeng story) and their local atmosphere is loved by their fans. In 2020, they appeared on Season 2 of "The Big Band," a Chinese band audition variety show, and became famous nationwide. Their free-spirited behavior and improvisational performances were especially popular.
