The album features a unique mix of covers by Sam Smith, Bjork, Stevie Wonder, Brad Meldor, Nick Drake, Hoagy Carmichael (whose cover of Chet Baker is famous), and even Dolly Parton. Two songs with Larry Goldings are also included. Stu Mindemann (p, org, rhodes), whose new works with Mark Juliana and featuring Makaya McRaven and Francesca Ancarola, among others, are in the spotlight, Josh Johnson (sax) of Jeff Parker & the New Breed, Herbie Hancock, and Christian Youman (ds), a support member of Herbie Hancock and Jacob Collier, and others.
