Description:
A masterpiece of melodic hard rock by GASTEM, formed in Damascus, Maryland, USA. After 34 years, the dream reunion has finally come true. This is the band’s second album since their reunion. The greatest masterpiece in the band’s history is here! Formed in Damascus, Maryland, GASTEM emerged from the thriving 1980s hard rock scene that flourished from 1985 to 1989. Armed with catchy, melodic hooks, overwhelming live performances, and a grand, arena-class sound, they gained a fervent following in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas. Throughout the 1980s, GASTEM became a central presence on the live music circuit in the Baltimore-Washington-Virginia region, headlining sold-out shows and performing alongside numerous national bands, including their local Baltimore allies, KIX. Band member Schenker later officially joined KIX in 2001 and remained with the band—which earned a platinum certification—until their final performance in 2023. After a hiatus lasting a full 34 years, GASTEM reunited in early 2024 and recorded the critically acclaimed album *III*. Furthermore, in 2025, Eonian Records reissued the long-out-of-print albums *Catch the Flame* and *Do It Like Wild* as deluxe editions to commemorate the band’s 40th anniversary. And now, GASTEM is back with *Hard To Stop!*. This album is a powerful new collection that could be called the band’s greatest masterpiece to date. Packed with unforgettable hooks, soaring vocals, rich harmonies, and epic, anthemic choruses, this album delivers everything fans of timeless melodic hard rock could ask for—all in the highest quality.
