Fritz Wunderlich (1930-1966) had a wide repertoire, including Mozart arias, songs, operettas, and popular songs of the time. In his twenties, Wunderlich concentrated on recording Graupner's and Semple's songs, which were rare at the time. Recorded between 1954 and 1957, this album is a collection of beautifully sung gems from Graupner and Semple, as well as arias from Rosenmüller's cantatas.
