In this long-awaited new work, Miyata will perform a number of works by Piazzolla, a composer who will celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth in 2021. Piazzolla has long been a favorite composer of Miyata, and he has often included his works in his concerts, but this will be his first "all-Piazzolla program. The program will be performed by the Welsh String Quartet, Kazuma Miura, and other leading Japanese players, and all the pieces will be arranged by Atsushi Yamanaka, who will also play the piano.
