Mozart Momentum" is the long-awaited sequel to "Beethoven Journey" by Leif Ove Ansnes and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, which has received worldwide acclaim and sold 90,000 copies worldwide. This four-CD set of masterpieces centered around the five piano concertos No. 20 through No. 24, written in 1785 and 1786, the pinnacle of Mozart's Vienna period, is released in two installments, the 1785 and 1786 editions, as a 2-CD set. The 1785 edition, which will be released first, is a collection of masterpieces from the Vienna period. The first two-disc set, the 1785 edition, features the masterpieces of the Viennese period: the highly individualistic Piano Concertos Nos. 20, 21, and 22, the G minor Piano Quartet No. 1, and the shady C minor Fantasy and Funeral Music. Fortunately, a session recording was made in Berlin, which Ansnes himself called "a small miracle" in an interview. It is also noteworthy that all of the recordings except for Concerto No. 20 are Ansnes' first recordings.
