Evgeny Kyshyn: 25th Anniversary of Japanese Debut + Commemorative Japan Tour "Evgeny Kyshyn, a pianist prodigy whose presence as the "King of Piano" is increasing, is coming to Japan for the first time in two years since 2009 for the "25th Anniversary of Japanese Debut / 40th Birthday Concert" tour. To coincide with this memorable tour, a box of 10 recordings of Keesin's music with orchestras made for RCA Red Seal and Sony Classical during the 10 years from 1988 to 1997 will be released at a special price. The recordings range from classical Haydn to 20th century Shostakovich, and are stamped with Kyshyn's individualistic portrayal of the diverse styles contained in each work, with consummate technique and superb musicianship. Rachmaninoff's Rachmaninoff No. 3 with Seiji Ozawa and the Boston Symphony Orchestra is a masterpiece that won the Record Academy Grand Prize when it was released. Other collaborators include Gergiev/London Symphony Orchestra, Giulini/Wien Philharmonic Orchestra, and other top-notch conductors and orchestras.Haydn, Mozart's Rondo and No. 12, Rachmaninoff's Nos. 2 and 3, and Shostakovich's No. 1 are Kyshyn's only recordings of the six pieces so far.
