To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the 11th film in the 007 series, Moonraker, composer John Barry's original film music has been remastered and re-released as a 2-CD set. Academy Award(R) winning composer John Barry continued to bring his exceptional creativity to the Bond series with thrilling and romantic scores, and his 007 music has made the world go wild. Shirley Bassey returns with her third Bond title track, with lyrics by Hal David. For this release, the music is now available in a deluxe edition that is more expanded and has much better sound quality than previous soundtrack editions. Remixed and mastered from high-resolution digital transfers of 2-inch tapes provided by MGM, this CD is available in a limited two-disc set. Disc 1 presents the score in the order of film recording, followed by previously unavailable music, source music recorded for the film, and additional versions of the score cues. Disc 2 contains the original 1979 soundtrack album and another version of the title track, newly edited for this release.
