Description:
Moonfall" is the latest film by Roland Emmerich, the master of disaster movies, known for "Independence Day" and "The Day After Tomorrow," and considered Hollywood's "King of Destruction. The moon has somehow been thrown out of its orbit and is on the verge of colliding with the earth. Weeks before the world's imminent destruction, NASA executive and former astronaut Joe Fowler (Halle Berry) is convinced that she holds the key to saving the human race. However, only her old friend and astronaut Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) and conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman (John Bradley) believe her. Can the three of them prevent the near-impossible destruction of the Earth? The epic scale of the film is supported musically by Thomas Wander and Harald Klosser, who worked together on "Independence Day After: Resurgence" and "Midway". The tension and the sound that folds in on itself heighten the realism of the film.
