Description:
The pioneering masterpiece using "RIAS original sound sources" is back! Furtwängler, the Eroica of the soul. A funeral march that will crush you with a terrible tension that cannot be believed to be the work of human beings! The Artus Tara label reissue series. In 1952, Furtwängler and the Berlin Philharmonic performed the "Heroes" in their hometown of Berlin on December 7 and 8. The Turla disc is a RIAS broadcast recording, which is known for its excellent sound quality. The Tarra disc is a pioneering masterpiece using the original RIAS source material, and is characterized by a sound with minimal noise reduction. It is very interesting to compare this disc with discs from other labels, and it is a disc that you should definitely keep on hand. The performances are also outstanding. This is an overwhelming performance that is as magnificent as the "Urania's Eroica" with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, but in a completely different way. The master, who has the music completely in his hands, captures the music with fierce but large steps and portrays Beethoven's revolutionary spirit with aplomb. The first movement's opening chord strike and the magnificent, great construction that follows, the second movement's funeral march's tension that almost bursts open, and the fugato that seems to squeeze all the life force out of the piece are unforgettably moving. In the final movement, the variation, the music is nevertheless very compelling, and the listener is stunned by its persuasive power. The remastering has further refined the robust power of the strings. King International
