The first album by Dennis Coffey and Mike Theodore's Detroit disco group, C.J. & CO. is now available on CD in paper jacket! Dennis Coffey, known for the club hit "Scorpio," worked with his partner Mike Theodore on the first album of this studio disco project consisting of three men (including Charles Clark of the Floaters) and two women. Backed by Earl Van Dyke (p.), who was involved in many Motown hits (Marvin Gaye, Four Tops, Temptations, etc.), and other members of the Funk Brothers, a Detroit studio session team. The title track was the biggest dance floor hit of the year.
