Pisto Jeans, a noise rock/hardcore punk band from Allentown, PA, USA, has completed a new album. Their sixth album, "Half Divorced," is released on the Sub Pop label and features ferocious vocals, harsh lyrics, saw-like guitars, and delirious live energy. Known for their ferocious vocals, caustic lyrics, saw-like guitars, and delirious live shows, Pissed Jeans will release their sixth album, Half Divorced, worldwide on Sub Pop in March 2024. This will be the follow-up to their 2017 album Why Love Now. The 12 songs on Half Divorced skewer the tension between youthful optimism and the ruthless reality of adulthood, as the four members of Pissed Jeans, Matt Korvette (Vo), Bradley Fry (G), Randy Huth (B), and Sean McGuinness (Dr), take on the challenges of the new millennium. Pissed Jeans' notoriously acerbic sense of humor is sharper than ever, slicing and dicing some of the delights that modern adult life has to offer.The album was produced and mixed by the band itself and Don Godwin, with engineering by Mike Petillo at Tonal Park in Takoma Park, Maryland. The album was also mastered by Arthur Rizk, co-producer/mixer of Why Love Now. We're not the kind of band that puts out a new record every two years," says Korvette, "and Pissed Jeans is really like an art project for us, which is a lot of fun.
