Messiaen by the virtuoso Yves Hausmann and the up-and-coming Amatis Trio! The young and talented Amatis Trio makes its debut at the BBC Proms! Clarinetist Yves Hausmann, who studied with Ewald Koch and Menahem Pressler and was strongly influenced by Gerge Kurtag, became principal clarinet of the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra at age 20 and principal clarinet of the Berlin State Opera at 22. In addition to performing as a soloist, he has collaborated with jazz pianist Michael Volney. The Amatis Trio (Amatis Trio) was formed in Amsterdam in 2014 by German violinist Leah Hausmann, British cellist Samuel Shepherd, and Dutch/Chinese pianist Menzie Han. 2016-2018 BBC New Generation Artists, ECHO (European Concert Hall Organization) Rising Artist for 2018/2019, and also makes its BBC Proms debut in the summer of 2019.In 2020, he released his debut album (8553477) on the C'Avi label. Olivier Messiaen composed "Quartet for the End of the World" when he was captured and taken prisoner by the German army during World War II. The eight-movement piece is based on "John's Revelation," in which the seventh-day Sabbath after the sixth day of creation is prolonged into an eighth day of unchangeable peace. Tokyo M-Plus
