A period instrument ensemble formed in 2016, Instante is an innovative London, with the aim of providing an innovative concert experience. It is a high-level ensemble of young virtuosos of the ancient music world, including Ursula Pardin-Mombea on horn, Hayley Pullen on bassoon, and Nicola Barbari on oboe. Three of the four recorded works by Michael Haydn and Boccherini are world premiere recordings (one is the first recording on period instruments), and are significant from the perspective of reviving the little-known music of these two great composers.
