The great Steve Howe, an important artist who was a member of the immensely popular and successful worldwide progressive rock groups Yes and Ageia, and who is credited with having played a key role in shaping the sound of both of these progressive rock giants.... Guitarist Steve Howe is that rare and overwhelming presence. A guitarist of unfathomable musical talent, he is one of those "legendary" artists who has released more than 50 albums under his band's name or his own, and continues to do so actively throughout his 50-year career.He has played with a wide range of artists and musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to Lou Reed and Queen, and continues to captivate all rock fans with his stunning acoustic guitar sound and exquisite sound style. His new album "LOVE IS" is his 17th solo album. This is his first new album under his solo name in about nine years, following "TIME," an all-instrumental album he released in 2011. The new album, "Love Is," contains a total of 10 songs, five instrumental and five vocal, and is composed in the form of alternating instrumental and vocal tracks. Steve Howe himself plays a variety of guitars (electric, acoustic, and steel), lead vocals, keyboards, percussion, and bass on the instrumental tracks, while Yes vocalist John Davison on the vocal tracks, and he and Steve harmonize beautifully together, and he also plays bass on the instrumental tracks.
