The enchanting violinist Francesca Pietsch takes on Prokofiev! The fascinating violinist Francesca Pietsch has been actively releasing works on the German audite label. Following her previous release of the Grieg album (AU 97707), she takes on Prokofiev's two four-movement violin sonatas (No. 2, originally a flute sonata, was adapted at Oistrakh's request), which are now frequently performed as Prokofiev's most famous works. It is now frequently performed as one of Prokofiev's masterpieces. Peach's rich phrasing and passionate singing will delight you with this performance. Born in East Germany, Francesca Pietsch received violin lessons from her father at the age of five and made her debut in Berlin at the age of eleven. She then studied with Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School in New York.He also studied with Ruggiero Ricci to hone his individuality as a violinist. A prolific soloist and first concertmaster of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra from 1998 to 2002, Peach is a founding member of the Trio Testore, a group that performs major piano trios and first came to prominence with the release of Brahms' complete piano trios (AU 91668) on the audite label.
