The Ensemble Resonanz, founded in 1994 and one of the world's leading chamber orchestras, presents one of C.P.E. Bach's most famous works, the "Hamburg Symphony". Commissioned by Baron Sviden, it was written for string orchestra and is a work full of ideas that demanded an extremely high level of difficulty for a work of its time. The Ensemble Resonanz is based in Hamburg and has no permanent conductor, but has a close relationship with Riccardo Minaj as principal guest conductor and partner. The orchestra has frequently collaborated with world-famous musicians such as Tabea Zimmermann, Isabel Faust, and Emilio Pomarico, and has thrilled audiences with its performances in Japan and other countries. Conductor and violinist Riccardo Minaj is highly regarded as one of the most outstanding talents on the European music scene and has received numerous awards, including the 2015 Diapason d'Or, BBC Music Magazine Award, and Gramophone Magazine's Editor's Choice.
