From Sapporo to Kansai. Shirahama, who was born and raised in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, and devoted his sensitive late teens and twenties to The Sleeping Aides And Razorblades (SAAR), launched his solo project Arcadian Starship in 2019, just before the Corona disaster. After releasing "Dedicated to winslow leach (12")" on this label, his activities have been transferred to his place of residence: Kansai, where he has gained new relationships and friends, and has made a new start as a full band form with a mixture of various knowledge. The members are, Vo/Gt_Shirahama(SAAR) Gt_Hacchori(Deadbeat Club) Ba_Shinya(ex-Famous Painters) Dr_Tora(ex-Frantic Stuffs, ex-Diskover etc.) The band started in 2023 with 4 members. After about a year in the current form, the first single (7") will be released in 2024, and the band's current state can be felt greatly. By moving their base from Sapporo to the Kansai region, the ideas that were initially cultivated through home recording have been combined with a high level of accuracy and trust in the amount of information and sense of the other members in the region, resulting in a synergy. Shirahama, a core member of the group, says, "I think the sincerity and dedication to music of each member is connected to the mutual trust and conversation among the members. This is exactly what is expressed in their R&R, which is full of hot hooks and aesthetics colored with sleep, and the result is three lovely, powerful, crying killer numbers that are pure and innocent. According to them, this album has a lot of inspiration from Another Pretty Face/Mega City Four/Cash Pussies/Donkeys/Mark Beer/Marshall Crenshaw/Communions/Martin Newell/The Jam/The Kinks (2nd), etc. The album is said to be sprinkled with a lot of inspirations from theThe scene to wonderful R&R colored by the feeling of the chord which is valued there exists unchanged, and each work play in the whole, the overwhelming melody line which flows before, and the roundness by the performance which intertwines Gt/Ba/Dr of the stable back lineup and the drive feeling and the solo are backed by the degree of freedom which mixes. The band shines like a flood of greed of 70's UK Punk~Power Pop~Neo Mods~Pop Punk~Guitar Pop, and even modern music from the 90's. Each of the four members recognizes each other's ideals, and they are all very much in love with the music. The result is a mix of songs that are lit up because each of the four members must recognize each other as ideal members, and this work is completed based on the number of occasions the frontman has been in the band. Their music has acquired the quality of the next stage of their experience, and belongs to the one and only original Power Pop/Pop Punk in Japan. About 10 years ago, Frontman attracted many young people by saying, "This is the power pop/pop punk that we are most familiar with! The music that makes the heartstrings of the middle generation who have grown older from that time go crazy again as if it were "more ours" is still unchanged. This work will be released as one of the best record releases in music, which will not allow us to forget or forget the joys of those days when we could buy many records at low prices, no matter how high prices are now (and may be in the future).
