The debut release from this Finnish jazz fusion collective, which also includes STRATOVARIUS' current bassist Lauri Porra, is a spectacular jazz fusion album! The band features two guitarists, Aki Haarala, who played in the Finnish acid jazz band Quintessence in the 00's, and Riku Karvonen, who has also worked as a studio musician in Finland. The band presents a pastoral jazz fusion sound, with a conversation between two acoustic guitars and a piano, synths, saxophone, and other instruments that expand the musical ideas in a spectacular way.The album includes tracks such as "Mobius," with its sharp riffs of jazz-rock elements and prop-like synth decorations, and "Scarlet Skyline," an indie pop-inspired song with whispery female vocals and folk sounds that are a perfect match.
