The first album after the band's name change! Formed in 2010 as Eskimo Callboy in Kasztrop-Lauchsel, Germany, the band debuted with their self-produced EP "Eskimo Callboy" in 2011. In 2011, he made his debut with the self-produced EP "Eskimo Call Boy". The band's debut EP, "Eskimo Call Boy," was released in 2011, and featured the danceable and heavy songs "California Girls" (a Katy Perry cover) and "Is Anyone Up? In March 2022, amidst growing concern and controversy over the use of ethnic terms, the first half of the band's name, which was inadvertently chosen at the time of its formation, was changed to "Eskimo Call Boy. The band changed its name to "Electric Call Boy" in order not to hurt or inhibit anyone, as they began to feel that it was not fitting. A fund-raising campaign for Ukrainian refugees was launched by the band members, and the campaign raised 90,000 euros (nearly 13 million yen).TEKKNO", the band's first album in three years and their first since changing their name, includes hit singles such as "We Got the Moves" (15 million views on YouTube) and "Pump It" (10 million views on YouTube). The album not only features their most distinctive metalcore/electronicore sound, but also alternative rock, hip-hop, and retro dancehall numbers, expanding not only the band's momentum but also their musicality.
