Vilde Flang, who has transformed herself from a Norwegian fairy into a mid-career violinist who can make anyone swoon, recorded Bartók's "Violin Concerto No. 1," which was discovered among the belongings of her former lover after his death, and a string octet composed by Enesco, who was one of the three great violinists of the first half of the 20th century. Bartók's "Violin Concerto No. 1" was originally a work whose existence itself was unknown.
