This is the first album released on A&M in 1969 by Shango, known as the band with which Tommy Reynolds, known for his work with Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds and T-Bones, was a member. Latin, soul, funk, and psychedelic rock soft rock are mixed together, and the sound of steel drums and the soft and comfortable sound typical of A&M is the most pleasant Latin tropical calypso soft rock. Produced by Jerry Riopeln of the soft rock group Parade, it is no wonder that the sound is so comfortable. The tracks are fun and cool, including the best tropical cover of The Beatles' "Hey Jude" and "Ob La Di, Ob La Da," a cool arrangement of Donovan's "Sunshine Superman," and a bubblegum pop arrangement of Meijer Lance's "Um Um Um Um Um," which sounds like some kind of theme song. The tracks are fun and cool.
