Russian virtuoso Rustem Khairudinov, Plays works of the Bach family! This is a collection of works by J.S. Bach and his sons. Their works were in transition from the Baroque period to the Classical period, and had a great influence on Beethoven and Mozart. Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, in particular, wrote a concerto for harpsichord and fortepiano that bid farewell to the Baroque era and marked the dawn of the Classical period. He was the most original composer of his sons and was highly regarded by Beethoven. Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was the most naturally gifted of his sons, but he was reluctant to take up the music of the new era. Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach was a master of the keyboard, but his works were written with technical plainness. Johann Christian Bach was a friend of Mozart and a great influence on him. Rustem Khairudinov was a Russian pianist who studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Lev Naumov and at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton.After making his debut in London in 1994, he has toured in the United States, Russia, and Europe, and has made several visits to Japan, including his first performance with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in June 2016.
