Roulant Henckens was the winner of the trumpet category at the famous "Aeolus International Wind Competition" in Germany in 2016 and is currently a solo trumpeter at the National Opera & Ballet Theatre in Norway, while earning high praise as an orchestral and chamber musician and soloist. He is currently a solo trumpeter with the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and a highly acclaimed orchestral, chamber, and soloist. Henckens, who is beginning to show his talent as a conductor as well, serving as assistant conductor of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra in Norway and the National Opera & Ballet, has assembled a fascinating trumpet repertoire from his native Belgium, from Jongen to Erik Desimperare's own compositions, Belgian trumpet album. Erik Desimperlais is a pianist, conductor, and composer who studied piano with Pete Kuijken at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and conducting with Et Spanjal and Lucas Fyss at the Amsterdam Conservatory.He has composed music for various ensembles including symphony, music theater, brass band, chamber music, and solo. He is the principal conductor of the Royal Symphonic Band "Vooruit Harelbeke" in Belgium and will be the director of the Kortrijk Conservatory in 2020. Tokyo M-Plus
