A legendary progressive rock band formed in the late 1970s in Málaga, Andalusia, that remained active until the 1990s but vanished from the public eye without releasing any recordings: A compilation album featuring previously unreleased recordings by EXODO is set for release in '26 from 5LunasProducciones, the label that has become the epicenter of Spanish progressive rock! In addition to six tracks recorded between ’78 and ’80, the album features five tracks recorded in ’92—toward the end of the band’s career—as well as two bonus tracks recorded in ’93. It captures the atmosphere and energy of the late ’70s Spanish progressive rock scene—which saw the emergence of renowned bands from various genres such as MEDINAAZAHARA, MEZQUITA, MUSICAURBANA, CRACK, and CAI—this album captures the atmosphere and momentum of the late-’70s Spanish prog scene, where renowned bands from various genres emerged. It effortlessly moves from ethereal symphonic rock to technical jazz-rock, embodying the passion characteristic of Spanish music alongside a “progressive” attitude and a spirit of exploration—coexist seamlessly. Had this album been released back then, these high-quality tracks would likely still be regarded as classics today. It’s a true shame that its existence has remained buried until now; this is an absolute must-listen for fans of Spanish progressive rock!
