Dino Ciani, the genius pianist who died young. A collection of Chopin nocturnes recorded in his later years! The legendary Italian pianist Dino Ciani (1941-1974), born in Rijeka, Croatia, and formerly of Fumé, Italy, was acclaimed by Alfred Cortot in his later years as an unparalleled genius and showed great promise for the future, but passed away in an accident at the young age of 32. Dino Ciani (1941-1974), a legendary Italian pianist, passed away at the age of 32 due to an accident. Chopin's 18 nocturnes were recorded in 1973, the year before his death, and the numerous pieces in the coupling were recorded in 1971. Ciani's Chopin recorded in his native Italy in the last years of his life will be revived with the cooperation of the Dino Ciani Society. Tokyo M-Plus
