This is the debut album by the quartet "Blue Moka," consisting of Hammond organ, saxophone, guitar, and drums. The quartet features Fabuilizio Bosso, one of Italy's most famous trumpeters, as a guest on eight original compositions that incorporate blues, R&B, and New York new jazz into a pleasant sound, as well as Wayne Shorter (Footprints), Michel Petrucciani (Brazilian Like), and Lucio Dalla (Brazilian Like). The quartet's name is derived from the American jazz tradition. The quartet's name signifies a new shade of blue, blending the American jazz tradition with experimental color textures. They search for language, tradition, and groove in new tones of jazz, connecting to fresh and vital gaps, all members closely knit and gliding lightly with a vibrant and rich sound that distinguishes them. the idea of forming a band called Blue Moka is a result of a subversive It began in 2009 as a group of friends who shared a passion for the music and wanted to pave an exploratory path to capture a unique musical dialogue.The members' influences include modern jazz, R&B, funk, and '60s Hammond, from Jimmy Smith, Art Blakey, Wynton Marsalis, Brian Blade, Pat Metheny, to Robert Glasper, Roy Hargrove, and Larry Goldings, to name a few.
