A live album by Monica Salmazzo, a female singer who represents the modern MPB. The album is the result of a tour titled "Minha Casa (My Home)," which premiered in September 2023 and toured throughout Brazil to sold-out shows in every city. In his own words, "My home is my North Star, the identity of my affection, the pulsating Brazil, the powerhouse of creativity and resistance, to be again. Minha Casa" is past, present, and eternal. Monica's "homes" are multiple, spread across the different parts of Brazil where the artist sings in her work. After the pandemic, she released two CDs, recorded in 2021 and 2022. Canto Sedutor (Enchanting Songs), with Dori Caimi, and Milton, with Andre Memari. In 2022 and 2023, he accompanied Sico Buarruchi on his 10-month tour of Brazil and Portugal with "Que tal um samba?In addition to featuring repertoire from such recent works, the album also includes previously unreleased songs, reaffirming the singer's never-stopping attitude as an ambitious and dedicated explorer of the vast Brazilian songbook. In addition to serving as co-musical director with her husband, flutist and saxophonist Teco Cardoso, she is joined by such self-aware friends as Diago Costa (piano), Neymar Dias (viola caipira and double bass), Lourinha Alencar (accordion), Ali Corrales (percussion), and Hicardo Mosca (drums).
