Christian Svalhvar, one of Sweden's most talented violinists, joins the virtuoso Roland Penttinen to perform works by Fauré, Debussy, and Ravel. Born into a musical family, Svalbard began playing the violin at the age of five and made his debut with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra at the age of 12. Svalbard became internationally known when he was selected as a "Rising Star" by the European Concert Association in 2008, and since then he has performed with the world's most renowned musicians, including Martin Frest, Julian Rachlin, Janine Jansen, Maksim Lissanoff, and Tabea Zimmermann. The ensemble has performed with Penttinen for many years, and their close-knit ensemble has gained increasing acclaim in recent years.
