Bach's keyboard solo works includes "The Third Collection of Clavier Sonatas with Rondo for Experts and Lovers". At the start of the recording, Spaniard said, "Realizing a complete cycle is never a simple task, especially when it includes works by early composers. With this series we present all of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's unquestionably authentic works for solo keyboard and accompanying ensemble. Since our goal is to give a general perspective on the possibilities of performing these works, this recording is based on a thorough study of the extant sources and authentic performance practices of the works. We have chosen to play "authentic" instruments based on the original source material.The music was performed with the authenticity and clarity that only Spaniard, who has spent a great deal of time and effort recording these vast works, can express.
