Joseph Nolan is internationally acclaimed for completing the complete organ symphonies of Charles-Marie Widor (5 volumes). This is a collection of works by the French organ school, including Charles Tournemire, Maurice Duruflé, and Louis Vierne. The world premiere recording of "Le Tombeau de Duruflé" by David Briggs, a student of Jean Langlais and the first British organist and composer to win the Tournemire Prize (for best improvised performance) at the St. Albans International Organ Festival competition. The album's title, "Midnight," was recorded for the first time in the world. The album title "Midnight at St. Etienne du Mont" is inspired by Woody Allen's classic film "Midnight in Paris.
