Veteran tenor player Jerry Burgundy's standards collection, organ trio with longtime friends and Italian members who know each other well, recorded by recording genius recording engineer Stefano Amelio, born in 1947, and recorded in 2019 by veteran tenor player Jerry Burgundy. is now available. In recent years, he has consistently released new albums, all of which are rich and substantial in content; in 2016, he released his first organ trio album in 15 years, "Spotlight on Standards," and this is a sequel, so to speak, by the same members of that album. Recorded in Italy in March 2019. The album contains 10 songs, including 3 originals by Birganzi and some familiar standards. As with the organ trio on the previous album, the audience can enjoy Birganzi's orthodox, unorthodox, and individualistic style. On the previous album, "Spotlight on Standards," the three members entered the recording studio after touring, but for this album they entered the studio just before the tour began to record. All the takes felt fresh and comfortable to play.He has known bassist Renato since they met in the 80's as students and educators, and he has also known drummer Andrea for over 20 years, so they have a wealth of experience performing together. The recording engineer is Italian recording genius Stefano Amelio.
