Description:
This is the first re-recording by La Petite Band in 11 years. The previous recording was a live recording (June 1992, ACCENT label) with the credit of La Petite Band Orchestra and Choir conducted by Sigiswald Kuiken, but this time it is a studio recording, simply called "La Petite Band" without Sigiswald's name in front. BWV230, also known as Motet No. 6, is not included in this recording, but Sigiswald explains in his own commentary that the reason for this is that he doubts the authenticity of this piece.
