Jazz legend and master musician Wayne Shorter, winner of 10 Grammy Awards, will finally release his new album "Emanon" on August 24, after a five-year absence. Shorter released the album "Night Dreamer" on Blue Note in 1964, and after a long hiatus from Blue Note following his 1970 recording "Odyssey of Ithaca," he returned to Blue Note in 2013 with "Without a Net," his first long-awaited release in five years. The new album is a 3-CD set featuring original compositions by the Wayne Shorter Quartet (ss, ts), Danilo Perez (p), John Patitucci (b), Brian Bride (ds), and the 34-piece Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. This 3-CD set consists of Shorter's original compositions performed by the 34-piece Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.The set also includes a graphic novelk written by Wayne Shorter and Monica Sly and illustrated by Randy Dabirk, making this a gorgeous work of musical and visual pleasure. Deluxe edition of the standard product with three 180g weight LPs. This is also a completely limited edition.
