Description:
A new solo work by guitar virtuoso Ralph Tauner, who released his first solo work "Diary" on ECM in 1973, and since then has released solo works such as "Solo Concert," "Ana," "Anthem," and "Time Line" as important autobiographical works. This is his first solo work in 10 years, although it has been a clear reflection of his own personality. The title of the album, "My Foolish Heart," is a standard included on Bill Evans' classic album "Waltz for Debby," and listening to the version of the song, he says, "It made me want to achieve the magic of this trio by playing the piano myself, and after I chose the guitar path, I wanted to try it out on the guitar. I was inspired to achieve the magic of this trio playing the piano myself, and then to try it on the guitar when I chose the guitar path. I wanted to know what it felt like to experience such a reverent musical space. After years of thinking about it, I was finally ready to tackle this song and include it in my own work. I hope to take the inspiration from these initial encounters and apply it to all of the music I play," said Tauner. says Tauner.
