Sorrowful orchestrations, dreamy piano melodies, and surrounding soundscapes guide the listener through the story. Dessner is a noted composer of film music. He has composed music for the Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated film "The Revenant: The Resurrected," Fernando Meirelles' film "Two Popes," Meek Mills' film "Comeon, Comeon," Alejandro González Iñárritu's film "Bardo, False Records and a Handful of Truth," among other films.
