Debut album from Shire T, the solo project of Chris Davids, also a member of Maribou State! Shire T, the solo project of Chris Davids, also a member of Maribou State, has released his debut album "Tomorrow's People"! In early 2020, he began working on new material for Maribou State, but a pandemic forced him to focus on his solo career and delve into his childhood dance music influences. The production of this new album was the result of delving into the dance music that influenced him as a child. Lead single "Blue Kiss" is built around a TB-303 bassline and classic drum machine, while album opener "Full Attention" is a synth-driven track reminiscent of 90s raves.Paris.Berlin." and "Serve No Tea," for which he used his childhood piano to create the main refrain. While each track is an outgrowth of the many influences he has had over the years, fans will appreciate the familiar melodies and use of vocal samples that are his signature sound.
