In the 1960s, he achieved worldwide success as a member of The Beatles, and after the group broke up, he formed his own band, Wings, and has been active as a solo musician ever since. More than half a century after his debut, Paul McCartney is still active and has had a profound influence on popular music. He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "most successful composer in the history of popular music. Here is a rare live archive of Paul McCartney from the 1970s! After the breakup of The Beatles, Paul McCartney released his second solo album, "Ram," in May 1971, and it was as big a hit as his previous album. Paul McCartney then formed Wings in August of the same year to perform live. In 1973, the band changed its name to Paul McCartney & Wings. As his activities with Wings took off, Paul McCartney also produced a solo album. The band's last album, "Back To The Egg," was released in 1979.The new album will be accompanied by a tour of 20 concerts in the UK. The London concert on December 29, the last leg of the tour, was titled "Concerts For The People Of Kampuchea" and was recorded and broadcast as a BBC TV/radio special. This live album is based on the recordings from this broadcast, and includes the complete concert performance.This special album features Wings' numbers, Paul McCartney's solo songs, and Beatles' numbers, and is a great way to end Wings' career!
