Downt, a band that has been expanding its music beyond the boundaries of genres such as alternative, emo, and indie rock with a presence that defies categorization, is finally going to release a full-length album in 2024! After vigorous live performances and collaborations with overseas artists, the band has further deepened and updated the innovative approach shown in the epic "13th Moon" to create a world-standard band sound. Since its formation in 2021, the band has been active mainly in the Tokyo live scene, and has made a name for itself in the emo and alternative live house scene, releasing "SAKANA e.p.", appearing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '22 "ROOKIE A GO-GO", and releasing a worldwide compilation record "Anthology" on the UK label Dog Knights (which sold out immediately). The year 2022 will see the band's name echoing throughout the world.The year 2023 saw the release of "13", a major work that showed the band's new direction and expanded their activities even further. The year 2023 saw the release of the epic "13th Moon", which showed a new direction for the band, and a further expansion of their activities. The long-awaited full-length album, which has steadily risen with the years, is finally ready for release. The new album includes the single "13th Moon," which is over 8 minutes long, and new songs that show the band's new stage of progression. With the band's first full-length album, downt is ready to hit the music scene in Japan and around the world!
