Second release to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary! BRUTALIZE" (1991) and "SURROUNDED BY FOES" (1990: first CD release), both released on P.M.A RECORDS, are coupled and reissued at last! This is CD only, but there is also a set with T-shirt (reservation deadline: 12/17(Sun.) 23:59). The second reissue in a three-month series commemorating the 40th anniversary of ROSEROSE band is a coupling reissue of "BRUTALIZE" (1991) and "SURROUNDED BY FOES" (1990: first time on CD), both released on P.M.A RECORDS! BRUTALIZE" (1991) was the first CD release from P.M.A RECORDS, a label established by ROSEROSE himself, and was the first full-length album after YACHI (G) joined the band and the band shifted to a death metal sound. 1991 It was a truly groundbreaking sound in the Japanese scene at the time, and is arguably one of the first death metal albums of historical importance.The vocal style is completely death-voice, the twin guitars are heavy and heavy, the bass has a low center of gravity that seems to crawl on the ground, and the drums have a hard sound making, and the influence on the underground scene later on is immeasurable. SURROUNDED BY FOES" (1990: P.M.A. 001), the first release on P.M.A. RECORDS, was released only on cassette at the time, and this is the first CD release. Tracks 14-16 on the A side of the cassette are called "GIG SIDE" and include three live tracks, while tracks 17-21 on the B side are called "DEMO SIDE" and include five studio tracks. (Two of them are covers of DISCHARGE and HERESY). The sound is oriented toward a very heavy and heavy sound, with some industrial elements. This is the second reissue of this important work that should be called the archive of Japanese death metal.
